Windows 8 WiFi 不支持 WEP 共享安全(Shared Security)的问题

同事的电脑安装 Windows 8 消费者预览版之后，无法连接无线路由器，无线路由器用的是 WEP 共享安全设置。
在 Windows 8 中配置无线网络连接时（单击“更改连接设置”），在“安全”选项卡，“安全类型”中没有“共享”(Shared)选项。
只有：
-No authentication (Open)
-WPA2-Personal
-WPA-Personal
-WPA2-Enterprise
-WPA-Enterprise
-802.1X

在Microsoft Answer网站上，也有人反映了同样的问题：Shared security wireless type。
是不是 Windows 8 取消了对 WEP（Wired Equivalent Privacy，有线等效加密协议） 的支持？

We don't recommend using Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) as your wireless security method. Wi‑Fi Protected Access (WPA or WPA2) is more secure. If you try WPA or WPA2 and they don't work, we recommend that you upgrade your network adapter to one that works with WPA or WPA2. All of your network devices, computers, routers, and access points must also support WPA or WPA2.
